The office’s duties focus on the development of farming, fishing, livestock raising and marketing of products. It oversees the implementation and strengthening of the Agricultural services of the Municipal Government to sustain food security as well as the promotion of the well-being of farmers and fishermen.

• PROVISION OF TECHNICAL TRAINING/CLASS/DEMONSTRATION ON AGRICULTURE AND FISHERY

THE SERVICE:

The Municipality of Agriculture Services Office conducts technical training/classes/demonstration. These are based on the priority needs and requests of farmers, fishermen, women and youth.

Among others, trainings/classes and demonstrations maybe along the lines of:

1. Integrated pest management (Rice & Corn)
2. Soil conservation
3. Rice and Corn production
4. Cattle fattening/breeding
5. Swine raising/fattening
6. Fish hatchery/fishpond management
7. Meat, fish and vegetable preservation
8. Animal Health Care
9. Poultry raising

• They attend to the needs of farmers, fishermen regarding the Agricultural Services of the Municipal Government.
